She is very fond of travelling since early childhood. Her father being an Army Officer, was posted out every two to three years thereby giving her the opportunity of seeing most parts of India. She learnt intimately the culture of the country as she travelled through its length and breadth. She has travelled extensively through India and abroad. As time went by, she learnt German as a foreign language from Delhi University and decided to step into the field she was passionate about - travel, as a profession. She took formal training and has a Government of India Golden Travel Guide License. She went onto become one of the very few leading licensed women travel guides in India and operated many inbound tours for over a decade, showcasing India's cultural heritage and history to people from across the globe. She worked as a Master Trainer at National Museum, New Delhi, training volunteer guides. She has conducted several high profile and celebrity tours over a decade.

With the passage of time she started her own Travel Company in 2018, called Myztic Travels. In 2019 she was selected by Indian Express as the Woman Game Changer of India in the field of Travel. In 2021 she started her own Heritage Community called Myztic Travels Walks which has over 150 members wherein she showcases the Hidden Gems of India.
